'Summertime In Venice' also known as 'Summer Madness' is a composition by Alessandro Cicognini with English lyrics by Carl Sigman.
It was written for the 1955 romance film 'Summertime' starring Katharine Hepburn, Rossano Brazzi, Darren McGavin and Isa Miranda and directed by David Lean.
In the UK the film had the title 'Summer Madness'.
This recording comes from a London/Decca 12 inch vinyl LP titled 'Mantovani Film Encores' released in October 1957.
