This time I decided to build an adjustable trim router guide jig. You can have a lot of fun with a router. In this video I am showing how to make a router jig for accurate grooves, dadoes and rabbets. By removing the knobs the jig can be used as a simple straight cut jig as well. Save money and built this useful router jig yourself. It is a simple woodworking project and you'll be happy with the result. Watch the entire video for a step by step guide how to make a router guide jig. Inspiration comes from many places - this one from JSK-Koubou.
Tips:
- Use a smooth thin MDF desk as base for the router jig. The router slides very smoothly on the surface while cutting
- Leave space around the jig that can be used for clamping the jig down
