Difference Between CNG and LNG

CNG
Compressed Natural gas. stored at high pressure, typically over 200 bars. Easier to produce, storage tank have to take higher pressure and not very economical for long distance transport

LNG
Liquefied Natural Gas. stored as a super-cooled (cryogenic) liquid
typically between -120°C to -170°C. It must be housed in special cryogenic storage facilities and tanks. Very economical, excellent way to transport large volumes


Similarities Between CNG and LNG

CNG & LNG both are produced from methane gas
CNG & LNG both are delivered to the engine as a gas
CNG & LNG both are delivered to the engine as a gas
At last CNG & LNG two state (gas & liquid) of natural gas (methane) that stored in different way and condition, nothing else.
