Zinaʾ or zina is sexual
Zinaʾ or zina is sexual intercourse between two unmarried people. Zina is illegal between multiple Muslims who are not married to each other according to Islamic marital rules

hadith
The hadith describes the punishment of zina as public flogging and death by stoning, found mainly in the collection of hadith called "Kitab-al Hudud".
Narrated 'Ubada bin As-Samit: I heard the Messenger of God say: Learn from me. Allah has decreed for those women. When an unmarried man commits adultery with an unmarried woman, they shall receive one hundred lashes and banishment for one year. And in case of adultery of a married woman with a married man, they shall be put to death with a hundred lashes and stoning.
