Shrewsbury's Canal Heritage exhibition at Flaxmill Maltings

Shrewsbury's Canal Heritage exhibition, staged by the Shrewsbury and Newport Canals Trust, opened on 22 March 2024 for a one month run at Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings, Dye House.
The exhibition explores the canal's development, from its 1797 opening, its subsequent decline and 21st century restoration.
Other local canal organisations have provided supporting displays, including Inland Waterways Association, Friends of the Montgomery Canal, Shropshire Union Canal Society, Saturn project, Lyneal Trust, Wildlife Trust and the Hive Hidden Waterways.
