2 x 2 Tubular Cast on using Waste Yarn for Knitting in the Round

This cast on method can be used when you are casting on ribbing that will be worked in the round, with Knit 2, Purl 2 ribbing.
The method I show uses waste yarn, where a multiple of the desired number of stitches is cast on using the waste yarn, and then the waste yarn is cut out after the work measures approximately 1".

The cast-on method shown in this tutorial can be used when the number of stitches in your ribbing is divisible by 4. This occurs when your ribbing panel begins with a Knit 2 and ends with a Purl 2.
