A Seiko Mistake? SSK001 GMT

Like many 'seikopaths' I am happy with the recent 5KX GMT release. It is by no means a perfect watch, nor a spec leader. It is nonetheless a great release and a great way to spend $500 horologically speaking. This black and grey colorway may be the most underrated of the options. This one specifically has the unique all brushed jubilee bracelet.... something I haven't seen on other 001s. A Seiko mistake?
