Here is an OP HUNTER RANGER Build Guide: Baldur's Gate 3! The Hunter Ranger is primarily a bow user, getting a massive boost to their ranged attacks when they get volley. This will give you a reliable area of effect attack that can cause effects like icy surfaces. This can interrupt enemy casters as well as trip martial classes. The nice part about this is we get a lot of versatility because we have spells and we can also attack at close range. I think that the ranger is similar to a ranged paladin, just without smites.
