We know a few (hundred) of you grabbed some of our bargain £69 B-grade sets recently, but I've always been disappointed with the sonarworks corrective preset for them. I managed to check them  against toneboosters morphit, though that had a bit too much top end (and a little bit low on the kick region), when we compare against the signatures of the A-grade studio headphones we have here (Audeze, Focal etc)

So, here's a free corrective preset for Fabfilter Pro-Q (2 or 3) that should be much more accurate and balanced for mixing. This won't magically turn your headphones into £4000 Audeze's (as it can't add detail, just adjust tonal balance), but should get a lot better translation for your mixes with them.

Otherwise you can try and duplicate the curve with another EQ, but I really do recommend pro-q 3 for this.
Put the eq as the last plugin on your master or monitor bus (don’t forget to disable before you bounce, of course)

Will also be 95% of the way there for K701 owners, there's only a tiny difference between the two models (mostly a removable cable)”
