North Borneo Railway

Filmed in February 2001, this video shows the private steam-hauled tourist train that operates over the state railway from Kota Kinabalu (Tanjung Aru) to Papar. The locos are relatively modern (1954) British 2-6-2 locos from Vulcan Foundry of which 3 were supplied and one No. 15 (a wood burner) was in use. Also included is a ride on a railcar from KK to Kinarut and some stills of the locos in the Sabah Museum.
