This is Day 1 of our Ryker moto-camping trip to the Texas Hill Country to ride the Twisted Sisters.  This is a long video, so skip to the end of the description for clickable time indexes.

Nick ( ‪@fattywithafirearm‬ ) was coming to Texas for a family event, so we decided to take a moto-camping trip to ride the Twisted Sisters in the Texas Hill Country ( https://ridermagazine.com/2013/07/08/... , or https://www.ridetexas.com/the-twisted... ).  I was able to snag the very last available camping site a couple of weeks prior to this trip, so we got lucky on the timing!

I headed out of the Katy, TX area around 8am on Sunday morning to meet with Nick in San Antonio.  He wanted to see the Alamo, but we didn't realize that it was closed and barricaded due to the recent not-so-peaceful demonstrations (riots caused the closures of many state landmarks to prevent vandalism).  So, we rolled by the Alamo and just kept on rollin'.  😉

My new Two Brothers Racing S1R exhaust is obnoxiously loud!  I installed the P1X noise reduction tip (7-9dB), but it didn't even last through the 2-hour highway ride to San Antonio.  We had to buy some hand tools to extract the blown baffle before we left San Antonio.  Fortunately, the baffle shrapnel didn't seem to cause any damage or other problems with the bike.  I forgot to mention in the video that the P1X noise baffle is NOT part of the RPS PowerKit3 package... I added that to reduce the noise levels.

The Racing Power Sports (RPS) PowerKit 3 didn't seem to make that much of a performance difference on my bike, so I'll be reverting back to stock after this trip.  I tried the two different RPS tuning maps that were supplied with the DynoJet PowerVision 3 controller, but neither seemed to make much difference on my bike.  The guys at RPS were quick to ship the parts and everything fit as advertised, so kudos to them!  Unfortunately, the kit just didn't prove to be worth the money for my needs... $1100 is a lot of scratch for not much improvement, IMHO.  The ECU has been flashed back to the "stock enhanced" map, and the TBR S1R is sitting in a box in my garage.  ☹️
