Former Conservative chancellor Philip Hammond has said Boris Johnson was not a good prime minister and the idea of him making a comeback is a "fantasy".
Lord Hammond, who was chancellor between 2016 and 2019, was asked by Sophy Ridge about rumours the outgoing PM could return to frontline politics ‘if the ball comes loose in the scrum’.
He replied: "I think this is fantasy".
