When facing the last chapter of life, the power of choice is not one to be undervalued.
Following a cancer diagnosis, John decided not to proceed with treatment and instead to stay at home with his loved ones.
To his niece Amrta, John and the rest of his family - it was important that they were able to make choices that aligned with his values.
That's where palliative care came in. Caring@Home gave John's family the resources and information to care for John and to allow him to live the life the last he pleased, right until the end.
John and Amrta's story is a short film that was produced in conjunction with 'Live the life you please,' a feature film that is set to release on May 22nd, 2023.
