Well, tell you how to defy gravity with stucco by mixing it richer by not adding too much sand to your first coat.
As a rule, you mix three times the sand to one part of stucco.
For your first coat of stucco to any exterior ceiling or soffit.
Use less sand, or it will be a nightmare for it to defy gravity and hang. Instead, it will continue to fall, or as we say, you will get dropouts everywhere, covering you in stucco.
