Hi everybody! This was a really fun call to do. I called up this fake IRS scammer number, inquiring about my "account". After I gave them my "name", they said I owed over $7,000 to the IRS as I currently had several "fraud accusations". Let's waste their time!

About this scam: Someone claiming to be with the IRS or with the "Criminal Investigation Department" of the IRS will call and harass you, saying there are serious tax fraud allegations against your name and account from past years. The scammers will tell you to pay them a ridiculous amount of money right then and there to resolve the matter, so that you won't go to jail. In this case, the scammers gave me a name and Chase bank account number to send to, which was interesting, but they'll usually ask you to wire them money through Western Union or Moneygram. All complete BS. The IRS does not cold call people and conduct business this way, it's all a scam. Go get these scumbags: 760-284-3378
