La Pousse D'Or was part of larger estate called Bousse D'Or (Golden Earth) in 1855 that included Domaine Romanee Conti and Clos Du Tart.  It has went through many ownership changes but it was acquired in 1954 by a family related to Gerard Potel, who took over ownership of the winery in 1964.  It was then sold to Patrick Landanger in 1997, who just turned over management of the estate to his son Benoit in 2018.

La Pousse D'Or manages around 17 hectares of vineyard which encompasses 5 Grand Crus and 11 Premier Crus (3 of which are monopolies).  Their wines are aged in oak for between 12-18 months in oak, 30% of which is new oak.

The vineyard that produces this wine was purchased by La Pousse D'Or in 2008 from Moine-Hudelot.  Les Amoureuses is only about 5.4 hectares (around 17 acres) and there are only around 13 landowners in the region.  La Pousse D'Or owns close to 0.2 hectares and produces under 1000 bottles of this wine each year.

The maps came from https://www.bourgogne-wines.com/ and a great Youtube video (Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru Les Amoureu...) with a google earth map of the Les Amoureuses region showing the location of the estates owned by each winery. Just a clarification: on the last slide, I keep referring the Chambolle Musigny but what I mean is Les Amoureuses.  Chambolle Musigny is the entire region.
