Doctor G review by Sucharita Tyagi - I love a film with a clever trick up its sleeve. Aap aao apni pre-conceived notions lekar, most welcome, yes yes wahee joh aapko pata hai, milega…..until…BOOM yeh loh umbilical cord, childbirth hospital ki lobby mein, yeh women poop during the process, and people who birth dont HAVE to become mothers to fulfill their destiny ya kuch toh aisa. Motherhood can be fulfilling for some, unwelcome for some, and ‘meh’ for others. A happy pregnant doctor, a confused single mother, a devastated pregnant teen, a woman almost robotic about pregnancy and birth, people who have the biological ability to incubate life come in all shapes, sizes, and emotional ranges in this universe.
