Is street food in Papua New Guinea as easy to find as in other countries? What kind of street food can you find here? These are questions I’ve always had since before arriving in this country. I wanted to try the local flavors, so I asked my local guide to take me to some of the best street food markets in Port Moresby.

After getting off the bus, the first thing that shocked me was the trash on the streets! It was piled up right in front of the street food market stalls. One important thing to remember here is never to buy street drinking water bottled! I started to hesitate about trying the street food, but my guide assured me it was delicious.
