Niger neighbors: Military intervention is our 'last resort' | DW News

Representatives from the ECOWAS bloc have gone to Niger to open negotiations with the military junta. At the same time, defense ministers said that while military intervention was the "last resort," it was on the table.

France and Italy are evacuating hundreds of citizens from Niger after the coup. Forty Germans have also left on French flights.
