Better than a gas forge for heat treatment?

In this knife-making video series, Tobias Hangler, co-developer of the ApexUltra Steel and trained metallurgist talks about the pros and cons of using an induction heater as a heat treatment equipment - as it turns out, it's pretty good for that (better than using a gas forge I might add!).
