Kemal Bey and his family migrate to the Erdemli highlands, which are located on the peaks of the Taurus Mountains, and engage in animal husbandry. In the past, tents woven from goat hair have been replaced by single-room structures called "çatma", which are made of nylon on wooden poles. The difficulty of weaving goat hair and developing new possibilities have led them to this preference. When the children in the house grow up and get married, they leave the tent and build their own tents. In cases where the pasture area in the region is not sufficient, the distance between the tents of the family members becomes longer.
