The video is intended for AECC II English (+3 2nd semester) students of Odisha. The chapter discussed here is from 'The Widening Arc: A Selection of Prose and Stories,' an anthology for Degree students published by Kitab Bhawan, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. This chapter is a detailed account by Jim Corbett of an accidental fight that broke out between a local leopard and the notorious man-eating leopard that had terrorized the hills of Rudraprayag for eight years.

Slide 12:
Read leopard instead of tiger. Though leopards and tigers belong to the same genus, Panthera, they are different. A tiger (Panthera tigris) has dark vertical stripes on its body while a leopard (Panthera pardus) has rose-shaped spots on its body.
