I've recently replaced our old Ryobi stick vacuum with the newer PBLSV717 18v Cordless Stick Vacuum with dual roller.  The vacuum seems to have a more powerful Brushless motor with more suction, it stands up by itself ( a HUGE improvement), and is easier to access the rollers in the head.  It also comes with a smaller upholstery head, crevice tool, and a much brighter headlight.

This is a great vacuum, but we accidentally lost the gasket for the dust canister (it can fall out when you're dumping the debris into a garbage bin), so it was having trouble pulling a vacuum and picking up debris--the whole reason for owning a vacuum!  Honestly, I've tried both Dyson and Shark, and I find these 18v Ryobi cordless to be competitive and MUCH MORE affordable.  I already have numerous batteries, so I never run out of power, even with a 2 story house.

In this video, I'll show a relatively cheap repair to replace the gasket parts on the canister and get your vacuum back up and running!  It cost me about $13 for the backer rod and a little hot glue.  The replacement dust bin gasket from Ryobi cost me about $20 on Amazon.  I will also give a brief review on how well the pblsv717 works.
