Palermo, Italy: the MOST Energetic City in Sicily! (Italy is SO different than Germany & the US)

This video was filmed prior to when Russia invaded Ukraine and before we started hosting a Ukrainian family. We wanted to post our video ("Touching Experience Hosting 5 Ukrainians (emotional) | WE LOVE THEM. Thank you for your donations" LINK) before our Sicily, Italy series (3 vlogs) to share our thoughts and experience with you. Hosting them has been an honor. We fly from Germany to Italy to experience warmer temperatures and new foods! :) We found a lot more than that though! In this video we are in Sicily for the first time ever! Sicily is a massive island in the south of Italy, the largest island in the Mediterranean! Our first stop is the capital city and ancient city, Palermo!
On our first day there we noticed a lot of cultural differences & were surprised to see how different things were compared to Germany and the U.S! Sicily is a very energetic & happening place-you won't want to miss this video! :)

-Strolled down Via Maqueda (see Quattro Canti, Fontana Pretoria, etc. Basically everything along this street is incredible to see, but crowded! :)...)
