The tiny island of Okinawa
The tiny island of Okinawa was our home from 1972-1974. It is the largest of the Ryukyu Island chain, located about 300 miles south of Kyushu, Japan, and 500 miles east of China. The scenes you are about to see were originally recorded on 8mm film by my mom during our stay here. I was 11 years old, Angie was 9, and Julie was 7.
