Activists criticize government for ignoring evidence of corruption

Civil Society Organisations have accused the government of deliberately failing the fight against corruption, even when ordinary citizens are doing so much to expose corrupt leaders. The agencies cite the Uganda Parliament Exhibition which they say unearthed critical evidence that could be used to pin some parliamentary leaders in corruption cases but the government is yet to act on any of these.

The call came during the launch of a Parliamentary Exhibition Report prepared by the Evidence and Methods Laboratory in Kampala.
