Ryzen 5 5600U is a quite remarkable tiny CPU. 6C/12T and integrated Vega 7 graphics make it a powerful unit that is also gaming-capable.
Horizon Zero Dawn can use a multicore CPU and high-end graphics to deliver a beautiful graphics and gaming experience.
Resolution 1080p and LOW details with FSR on and set on Balance laptop delivered on average 27+ fps. The gameplay was smooth all the. Battles with machines also were smooth and without lags.
Travelling around with different weather conditions and ever-changing scenery was no problem for this chip.
The cutscene and transition to and from it into the game were smooth as well.
CPU usage was around 40% most time and the game definitely takes advantage of the multicore architecture.
RAM usage was huge. Almost 15 GB is in use all the time. A minimum of 16 GB is required to play comfortably but the more RAM you have the better. Dual-channel is a must be for this game otherwise you can kill performance.
The Audio was clear and sharp all the time.
I was very impressed with the performance here because I didn't expect it at all.
Everything from loading time to overall in-game performance was very impressive.
Even temps were low what is rare for this unit because it can go hot very easy, especially in business class laptops like this one.
