When it comes to improving your tennis, training is everything. However, it's not always possible to find good practice partners who are willing to spend countless hours on court working on their game.
That doesn't mean the improvements should stop for you though.
Here are the five best ways to improve your tennis game alone.

Method One
Improving your serve alone. It's a no-brainer to practice serves alone on a consistent basis, yet how many players actually do this?
I've been to countless tennis clubs around the world and rarely see people working on their serve, alone. You can work on your precision, your consistency and your power.

Method Two
Footwork and movement training. Footwork is the glue that bonds our entire game together, yet so few players actually work on their footwork. If you don't have a practice set up, it's a great time to then spend improving your tennis-specific movement alone. And why not spend 10-15 minutes working on your footwork regularly?

Method Three
Training against a tennis wall. Tennis is ultimately a game of sending and receiving a tennis ball. With a wall, you practice both of these skills. Plus against a wall, you have half the time you normally would in a normal rally or point.

However, with the ball machine, you can see exactly where each ball is landing and work on your accuracy, your consistency, and your power.

Method Five
Becoming a better athlete. This may mean spending more time in the gym, going for runs in the great outdoors, doing more flexibility work such as stretching or yoga, or working on your fitness doing interval training.
