Odysseus spacecraft became the first private mission to land on the moon on 22 February. Although the Odysseus moon lander is positioned sideways having gently tipped over on its side after its landing, it has managed to send back a pair of images.

One was taken as it approached its landing site, dubbed Malapert A, and the other seems to be the first close-up angle we’ve seen of the lunar surface.
