For under $1,500 I was
For under $1,500 I was able to match the performance of a $3,500 MacBook Pro M1!!! It has a thin, light aluminum-magnesium chassis, 4k UHD screen, 16GB, 1 TB SSD, estimated 6 hours of battery life.. and the ssssmokin fast AMD Ryzen 9, along with a little GPU we like to call the NVIDIA GeForce RTX™ 3050ti. The RAM & SSD can be expanded, too, on the cheap.
I got this Lenovo Legion Slim 7 as an "open box" from Best Buy, but the new model is only a few hundred more.

Turns out, it wasn't "open box"... it was actually the floor DEMO UNIT! So if you're concerned about the long term reliability of these things... don't be! This one has been powered on all day long for over a year :o
