A small village of 5100 people called Mudorno disappears behind the mountains after the famous Abant Lake, not far from Istanbul. It is a quiet village with a moderate atmosphere and looks as though it has never seen a foreign tourist before.
I left the door of its only hotel in the early morning cold, and flowers and fruit trees and the beauty of the corridors and small wooden bridges, and I went in that pleasing pleasure until I returned for breakfast.
