This video shows how to calculate tuned length from the exhaust temp and port timing figures covered in the last 2 videos.
Begining with calculating the local sonic velocity of the exhauct compression wave inside the pipe and then the amount of time the exhasut port is open.
Using that we calculate how far the waves travels along the pipe during the period of exhaust open to provide out tuned length value in millimetres.
Using that the lengths of all of the parts of the expansion chamber can be calculated.
Next video covers port area and pipe diameters.
