And okay, the St. Louis Cardinals also happened to be getting ready to play the Milwaukee Brewers, so there was a bigger purpose than simply entertaining me, but it was incredible to have the stadium all to myself.
How long was I all alone there? How many home runs did I catch? How did I even get to do this in the first place?
As cool as it was to be inside the stadium extra early, the best part about the game was my AMAZING ticket right next to the Cardinals dugout on the 1st base side. I was so close to the players that I could overhear some interesting conversations. Paul Goldschmidt, Nolan Arenado, Albert Pujols, and Adam Wainwright -- all those guys were RIGHT there.

Huge thanks to the Cardinals front office and security personnel for treating me so kindly. Equally big thanks to Anheuser-Busch for the tickets (two nights in a row!). If this kind of treatment continues, Busch Stadium might turn into my home away from home.
