Recorded in the surroundings of
Recorded in the surroundings of the Siete Aguas PAET (Madrid - Valencia HSL), we see some high-speed traffic, a beautiful 592 on the classic line, next to it an old Renfe marker with "the cookie" and the star of the video, a Renfe AVRIL Talgo prepared for AVLO services stationed at the PAET.
We will closely observe set 51 of Renfe's 106 series, the first one that has variable gauge (this also implies that it has dual voltage for the different types of electrification between high-speed and conventional lines) as sets 51 to 65 have this characteristic.
All the coaches have a 3+2 seat distribution, thanks to the fact that they are wider compared to those of other high-speed trains (such as those currently used for AVLO of the 112 series).
They are homologated to circulate up to 330km/h and their commissioning is scheduled for November 2023.
