Let me tell you one secret;
Majority of ethnic groups or geographical area, even some countries around the world, didn't name themselves. For example, the word Europe came from Phoenicians' word Europa. Also, some of them can't agree on exactly where there name come from or the meaning of the name. The name Africa, Yoruba, and Igbo is one of this as they are disputed by many historians and scholars but there's no problem with that as long as they serve there primary function of referencing the people.
In this video and the coming one, i will be examinig various theories that has been put up as the origin of this names.
