TECO Builds a High-Efficiency Motor Production Base in Vietnam

Located in a 3.4-hectare premises in Becamex industrial park in Vietnam's Binh Duong Province, the Vietnamese plant, with investment exceeding US$12 million, boasts environment-friendly process and smart automated production lines. It will produce mainly high-efficiency IE small motors, which annual capacity reaching 200,000 units, which will rise to 300,000 in 2020, mainly for shipment to Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. It will also turn out NEMA (the National Electrical Manufacturers Association of the U.S.) models, for shipment to the U.S.

The new plant will join the company's existing plants in Dong Nai Province of Vietnam and Penang City of Malaysia, forming a manufacturing network in the region.
