Hello, This is Walk Together.
On a quiet Sunday morning, let's walk through the old town of Mokpo. The old city center, where you can see many historical sites, is a must-visit destination in Mokpo. In a way, it may be an area full of old houses, but it is also a place that encompasses the history from the Japanese colonial period to the modern era. You can see many Japanese-style buildings, including the Modern History Museum 1 (formerly the Japanese Consulate), the filming location of the drama Hotel Del Luna, and the Modern History Museum 2 (formerly Dongyang Cheoksik Co., Ltd.) with a sad history. You can also climb Mokpojin Historical Park or Yudalsan Park to look down on Nojeokbong Peak and the scenery of Mokpo. Son Hye-won's Changsung Jang and Son So-Young's Gallery Cafe are also worth visiting. It wasn't open because it was early in the morning.
If you go through the street of modern history and pass Yudalsan Park, you can travel to Okdani-gil. You can also see the beautiful scenery of Mokwon-dong, where Ok Dan-i walked around, such as Jeonggwang Jeong Hye-won, Kongnamul-dongne, Norano Museum of Art, Bukgyo-dong Cathedral, and Mural Street. I didn't walk all the route of Okdani-gil because I took a wrong turn while walking, but it was a pretty good day to walk to the last Jungang Food Market and Namjin's birthplace. Shall we take a walk together in Mokpo on a Sunday morning that encompasses three routes at once?

오늘은 조용한 일요일 아침, 목포 구도심을 걸어봅니다. 목포 여행에서 여러 역사적인 장소들을 볼 수 있는 구도심은 빼놓을 수 없는 여행지입니다. 어찌보면 오래된 집들이 가득한 지역일수도 있지만, 일제 강점기부터 근대까지의 역사를 아우르는 곳이기도 하니까요. 드라마 호텔델루나의 촬영지인 근대역사박물관1(구. 일본영사관)과 슬픈 역사인 근대역사박물관2(구. 동양척식주식회사)를 비롯해 여러 일본식 건물들도 많이 볼 수 있습니다. 목포진 역사공원이나 유달산 공원에 올라 노적봉과 목포의 풍경을 내려다 볼 수도 있고요. 손혜원의 창성장이나 손소영의 갤러리카페도 들려볼 만 합니다. 이른 아침이어서인지 문을 열지는 않았지만요.
그렇게 근대역사의거리를 구경하고 유달산공원을 넘어가면 옥단이길로 이어지는 여행을 할 수 있습니다. 정광 정혜원, 콩나물동네, 노라노 미술관, 북교동 성당, 벽화거리 등 옥단이가 누비고 다녔던 목원동의 아름다운 풍경들도 함께 보실 수 있습니다. 걷다가 길을 잘못들어서 옥단이길을 다 걷지는 못했지만, 그래도 마지막 중앙식료시장과 남진 생가까지, 꽤 알차게 걸은 하루였습니다. 한번에 3가지 루트를 아우르는 일요일 오전의 목포 산책, 함께 걸어 보실까요?
