Greg and Val Tuerk invite you to join Max's March on Saturday, May 4 to support the Concussion Legacy Foundation through the Race to End CTE.

Max Tuerk was an All-Pac-12 offensive lineman at USC who played two NFL seasons with the Chargers and Cardinals. He passed away unexpectedly in 2020 at age 26, and his parents donated his brain to the UNITE Brain Bank at the Boston University CTE Center. Researchers later diagnosed Max with stage 1 CTE.
On the same trails Max hiked in the final months of his life, the Tuerk family hosts Max's March not only to honor their son's life and legacy, but to educate parents about CTE risk in contact sports. In addition to the hike in Southern California, friends and family in 11 other states plus Paris, France will walk on May 4 to show their support.
