HOW TO: Wake Foil pt. 2 - Catching the Wave

Foiling behind the boat is a ton of fun, but can be a little tricky to get started. In this video, which is part 2 of my intro to foiling, I break down some of the basic tips that have been the most helpful to me with learning to ride a foil behind the boat. This video focuses specifically on catching the wave, if you are brand new to foiling and need instructions on getting up, you can find my first video here: HOW TO: Get Started Foiling

Once you're up and riding on the foil, the next step is getting into the wave. This is the point where more challenges come in, but it's also where foiling gets really fun and exciting.

The main keys for me are starting out wide away from the wake, slowly working your way in, and keeping the foil flying super low.

Hope this video is helpful for the next steps once you're up on a foil! Getting out foiling is rad because there are endless challenges and improvements to be making constantly, hope you find this process as fun as I do!
