At @TheAgaKhanAward for Architecture 2022, Princess Zahra #AgaKhan delivered an address congratulating laureates on behalf of His Highness the Aga Khan and spoke about the power of #architecture.
"Over the years, the Award has been a lighthouse for those who feel we can design and build differently; to those who believe that we have a responsibility to build appropriately – with thought, with consideration and with the knowledge that architecture at its best is an inherently pluralistic exercise."
The Aga Khan Award for Architecture seeks to identify and encourage building concepts that successfully address the needs and aspirations of societies across the world, in which Muslims have a significant presence.
