Garnets are a family of crystals which all possess similar physical properties and crystal forms, but differ in chemical composition. They are found in most colours but red is by far the most common. Red garnets have been used for thousands of years, long being associated as a warrior stone. Soldiers wore it into battle for two reasons, it protects and it speeds healing. Although few of us today are a soldiers, we are all warriors facing adversity of many kinds.
