SHEFFIELD WALK | Walk through
SHEFFIELD WALK | Walk through Sheffield City Centre from The River Don near The Wicker to Fitzalan Square, including Haymarket and Lady's Bridge.

This walk through Sheffield starts at the River Don down near The Wicker as we begin by walking down by the newly redeveloped riverside apartments.
Arriving at Blonk Street we take a right and walk down onto The Wicker before turning left and heading to Lady's Bridge over the River Don.
There has been much redevelopment in Sheffield and this area where Sheffield Castle used to stand (and Castle Markets after that) is due for a huge revamp that I can't wait to see and walking through Sheffield is already great but the changes to the city will make it even better.
The plans are for the Sheffield Castle walls to be unveiled and put on permanent display in a brand new public square.
As we head up towards Haymarket we pass the old Sheffield town hall over on the other side of the road (with the Castle Market redevelopment on our left)
Arriving at Fitzalan Square we can see where the Classic Cinema used to stand, and where the old Post Office building still does.
