This video walks you through the fresh installation of a single sided deadbolt. The door prep for a single sided deadbolt is different from a standard deadbolt in that you do not bore a 2 and 1/8 inch hole all the way through the door. Do to the complex nature of this type of installation we advice that you watch this video in its complete entirety before attempting on your own.  For demonstration purposes we have chosen to use a Kwikset single sided deadbolt.
