Presonus Faderport 2 - First Impressions (Comparing with Faderport Classic)

As a big fan of the original Faderport Classic Production Controller from Presonus I've been really looking forward to trying out it's new big brother, the Faderport MK2, and on first impressions I'm certainly not disappointed.
A lot of the previous little niggles (and a couple of bigger ones!) have been addressed including a much more tactile buttons design and feel which are beautifully illuminated. There's also improved connectivity with a variety of daws although as I use Studio One connecting the Faderport 2 has been wonderfully easy.
The addition of an on/off switch is a helpful touch too but there's plenty also to welcome back including that full scale motorised fader.
With a full change in button layout there's plenty more to review here so I'm really looking forward to delving deeper into this attractive space saving controller in a few weeks on Real Home Studio.
