Comedian Dave Hughes has been injured in a surfing accident.
The 53-year-old shared the injuries he sustained while on holiday at Surfers Paradise on social media.
He says they left him with “9 out of 10 level nerve damage”.
The TV and radio presenter says it was his least sober New Years in more than 30 years after needing to take strong painkillers.
“Green whistle came after two hours of (the) worst pain of my life, plus morphine and the rest of them,” Mr Hughes said on social media.
