The gear I used is
The gear I used is the Sony FX3 with the Tanron 28-75mm and a Tiffen Black Pro-Mist 1/8.
The editing is done in DaVinci Resolve.
1st:
Create at least 2 nodes in the color grading tab for your clip.
2nd:
In the first node use the Color Space Transform effect and specify the following:
Input Color Space: SonyS-Gamut3.Cine
Input Gamma: SonyS-Log3
Output Color Space: DaVinci Wide Gamut
Output Gamma: DaVinci Intermediate
3rd:
Use the Color Space Transform effect for the last node as well.
Specify here the following:
Input Color Space: SonyS-Gamut3.Cine
Input Gamma: SonyS-Log3
Output Color Space: Rec.709
Output Gamma: Rec.709-A
4th:
The nodes in between are used for exposure, look, hsl, sky, contrast, bal etc. and can be adjusted as desired. In my case I only worked on the exposure and the look.
For the look I use the undisputed Phantom Lut’s
It is important that I filmed with a Sony and of course you have to enter in step 2 and 3 your Input Gamma and Color Space of your camera here.
