The gear I used is the Sony FX3 with the Tanron 28-75mm and a Tiffen Black Pro-Mist 1/8. The editing is done in DaVinci Resolve. 1st: Create at least 2 nodes in the color grading tab for your clip. 2nd: In the first node use the Color Space Transform effect and specify the following: Input Color Space: SonyS-Gamut3.Cine Input Gamma: SonyS-Log3 Output Color Space: DaVinci Wide Gamut Output Gamma: DaVinci Intermediate 3rd: Use the Color Space Transform effect for the last node as well. Specify here the following: Input Color Space: SonyS-Gamut3.Cine Input Gamma: SonyS-Log3 Output Color Space: Rec.709 Output Gamma: Rec.709-A 4th: The nodes in between are used for exposure, look, hsl, sky, contrast, bal etc. and can be adjusted as desired. In my case I only worked on the exposure and the look. For the look I use the undisputed Phantom Lut’s It is important that I filmed with a Sony and of course you have to enter in step 2 and 3 your Input Gamma and Color Space of your camera here.
