Learn how to create a textured short haircut on bleached hair from this SEB MAN step-by-step guide. Aiden Xydis, SEB MAN’s Global Artist, will demonstrate how to achieve this bold look using both clippers and scissors to fuse texture and how to create an asymmetric, geometric fringe. Keep reading for tutorial steps and product recommendations.
STEP 1:
Create a high horseshoe section from above the recessions to the crown. Take a vertical section from the crown and blunt cut the excess of hair to create a higher undercut. Work this way all around the hat line.
STEP 2:
Use the clipper over comb technique on the sides and back from the nape up to the occipital bone.
STEP 3:
Comb the hair to the natural fall. Take a vertical section from the crown to the front. Point cut from shorter at the crown to longer toward the hairline. Continue with this technique on both sides using the previous section as your guide.
STEP 4:
To create the focal point, comb the fringe down and using your fingers as a guide, point cut creating an asymmetric geometric shape. Apply The Groom on damp hair to add smoothness to the bleached textured hair. Directionally blow-dry in the natural fall.
To style the haircut, cocktail The Hero and The Sculptor to create separation and texture.

The color is achieved with a full head bleach using Wella Professionals BLONDOR MULTI BLONDE and SEBASTIAN PROFESSIONAL Cellophane Clear Shine + Ice Blond (10:1).
