Our stay in the Lake
Our stay in the Lake District at The Beech Hill Hotel and Spa on the banks of Lake Windermere in Cumbria UK.
It was our first visit to the Lake District in Cumbria and the hotel had great views over Lake Windermere and the gardens stretched down to the water’s edge and the hotel’s own jetty.
The hotel does feature a spa and an outdoor hot tub but unfortunately it had other guests in it so we were unable to film.
The hotel is just over 5 minutes from Bowness-on-Windermere from where you can take boat trips all over the lake.
It was a good location from which to explore the Lake District. As well visiting Bowness and taking a boat trip we drove up to Grasmere village where the poet William Wordsworth is buried. #hotelreview
