I wouldn’t say that it is extremely difficult for PCOD patients to get pregnant. As I have said earlier it is more of a lifestyle disorder and majority it is 60 – 75% of patients. So just controlling obesity, maintain a healthy lifestyle, physical activity and a well balanced diet. Getting back to a normal BMI is more of a treatment for spontaneous conception but there are 20 – 30% cases are Resistant PCOS, who have some familial predisposition for PCOS, where they are prediabetic, they have thyroid issues, etc and in them we have to give some form of infertility management. So all form of management is available. So there is no need to get disheartened that you have been diagnosed with PCOS because treatment is available.
