How To Convert B1/B2 Visa
How To Convert B1/B2 Visa To F1 Visa | Convert form Visit Visa to Student Visa in USA explains how you can convert your B1/B2 Visit Visa to Student Visa.
First option can be you visit USA and then go back to your home country and then apply for Student Visa ( F1 Visa).
Second option you let the Visa officer know that at time of interview for B1/B2 Visa that you are intended to change to full time student if you like the school in usa. That is called prospective student. So once you are in USA and then get admission in USA school, you will apply for to USCIS to get your visa converted from B1/B2 Visit Visa to Student Visa(F1). you have better chances to get your visa converted here as you already have explained to voice officer you have plan to stay in USA if you like the school you are going to visit.
The last option is that you did not mention in the inteview for B1/B2 visa interview that you have plan to study in USA but you got admission in USA and then applied for conversion to F1. You have chances to get converted but make sure you have enough financial statement and strong ties to your home country.
